CD Data Recovery

CD’s and DVD’s are widely used as storage media but may become unreliable if the back side where the data is written is damaged. The estimated life cycle of CD’s and DVD’s is approximately 7 years. However, some discs are subject to corrosion sooner due to the usage of cheap materials during the production. The main reason for discs to become unreadable is scratches. You will get an error message on your computer screen saying that your CD/DVD player’s drive letter is not accessible. When you do not get an error message, the player may still not function properly (i.e. keeps trying to read the disc without success). Data recovered from CD’s or DVD’s will be copied onto CD’s or DVD’s.
